As founder and former CEO of online mental healthcare company Cerebral, Kyle Robertson transformed a telehealth startup into a unicorn company valued at $4.8 billion at the peak of its success in 2022. Today, Robertson is investing his time and passion in Revolution Venture Studios, where he uplifts and mentors new startup founders to achieve their dreams of building their own transformative companies.
During his time at the helm of Cerebral, Kyle Robertson was the architect of the company’s unique digital-first approach to mental healthcare, overseeing its online mental health services, which included therapy, medication management and virtual on-demand support. The necessity of virtual mental healthcare was brought into extreme focus with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic when, in an instant, the standard model of in-person treatment became nearly impossible By rising to meet the unprecedented demand of this historic crisis, Cerebral broke down the longstanding barriers that had obstructed millions of Americans from receiving the quality mental healthcare they desperately needed, even long before the pandemic.
After his departure from Cerebral in May 2022, Robertson looked beyond mental health for his next mission. He founded Zealthy, a telemedicine platform that provides direct-to-consumer treatment to hundreds of thousands of patients across the United States for a wide range of personal health and wellness needs including weight management, hair loss, sexual dysfunction and birth control.
While continuing to run Zealthy as CEO, Robertson founded Revolution Venture Studios (RVS) with the purpose of ideating, funding, and launching new category-defining companies in healthcare and wellness. In his role as Owner and Managing Partner, Robertson takes on the ambitious aim of co-founding and launching multiple startups simultaneously. He finds potential co-founders by identifying candidates who possess not only the vision, but the drive to hit the ground running and ideate on it.
RVS has already built a roster of successful companies, including longevity provider Bioverse, medical note-taking disruptor ScribeAI, and medspa roll-up Amara. The companies are led day-to-day by Robertson’s co-founders who serve as CEO.
RVS operates more like a startup boot-camp than a typical VC fund or accelerator. Having now built multiple companies from a single employee to industry-defining titan, Robertson’s portfolio co-founders learn from his experience with taking risks, pouring 100% of himself into the work, and doing every job at the company all at once. ,
Kyle Robertson‘s goal for RVS is not just to offer capital, but mentorship for startups looking for ways to scale rapidly, but responsibly and stay aligned with their mission as they grow. By contributing his knowledge and experience to developing industry-leading products and high-growth opportunities,
Kyle Robertson’s long-term vision for Revolution Venture Studios is not just to bring more successful startups into the world, but to create the infrastructure for many new unicorn companies to step into the spotlight. Based on his history and experience building successful companies, Robertson appears poised to help many more aspiring founders build their dreams into reality.
